Lisa L. Paine, CNM, DrPH

Lisa provides leadership, fundraising and research consultation for nonprofit and charitable organizations, as well as health-related university education programs that focus on women’s health. Lisa has also held a number of academic, clinical and administrative leadership positions in public health, midwifery, nursing and medicine. She has published widely in national and international peer-reviewed literature and has lectured often on a range of women’s health and public health topics.

Throughout her career, Lisa has closely collaborated with researchers, clinicians, administrators and advocates dedicated to the care of women and families, especially those from vulnerable populations. As a veteran of the US Air Force, she is also interested in the concerns of women and members of the LGBTQ community who are active duty military and veterans.

Lisa received her doctorate in public health at Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health, her nurse-midwifery education at the University of Utah, and most recently a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management at the Johns Hopkins University.  She has been involved with Fenway for several years and was Co-Chair of the Women’s Dinner Party in 2007.
