Fenway Health offers three types of acupuncture:
Did you know? Fenway Health is still offering our acupuncture services, with some changes to keep everyone safe! Our acupuncture clinic is open Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:30 – 5:00 PM, and Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 – 10:30 AM and on Saturday from 9:00 -11:00 AM.
Per COVID-19 precautions, acupuncture sessions are being held in individual rooms, rather than a group space. We are following strict safety protocols, so our patients can feel safe and confident accessing these services. Due to limited space capacity, you may experience some wait times. To help alleviate these wait times, treatments may be shortened from 45 to 40 minutes depending on patient volume.

This is a self-pay service; payment is due at time of service. $20 per drop-in visit or $99 for a 30-day unlimited pass. Located on 7th Floor at 1340 Boylston Street.
In order to ensure patient safety, all patients are required to wear a mask for the duration of their treatment and the number of patients in the acupuncture room will be limited. If you arrive and the clinic is at capacity, there may be a short wait. We do appreciate your patience in order to maintain a safe environment for all.
There is no food or drink allowed in the acupuncture clinic. Please also refrain from bringing any large bags, backpacks, suitcases, etc. into the clinic with you; you may bring a small, personal item and something to read if you wish.
Acupuncture, a traditional medicine of China, is a method of using very fine, sterile, stainless steel needles to stimulate the body’s own natural healing process.
The vital energy of the body is known as QI (pronounced “chee”). Symptoms arise when the flow of the body’s vital energy – QI – is obstructed. Acupuncture aids in removing these obstructions over time and encourages the QI energy to again flow smoothly. Research has shown that stimulating acupuncture points triggers several measurable changes in various body systems including the nervous system and the circulatory system. Acupuncture patients can maximize the effectiveness of their treatment by following proper dietary and lifestyle guidelines.
In an official report from the World Health Organization, Acupuncture: Review and Analysis of Reports on Controlled Clinical Trials, the WHO has listed over 100 diseases, symptoms and conditions for which the therapeutic effect of acupuncture has been shown. These include:
